About Us

We're Caden & Jenna Vanderbyl. We are both San Diego natives and grew up enjoying all that San Diego's beach communities have to offer and want all of our customers to be able to do the same.


We started Beach Day Valet because we believe the beach should be relaxing - from the moment you pull in. As a local, family-run business, we know the best days are the easy ones. That's why we're here, to handle the heavy lifting so you can make memories.

Frequently asked questions

Do you deliver the beach gear, or do we pick it up?

We bring the beach gear to you. Whether you're at a hotel, a vacation rental, or we meet you curbside at the beach, we handle the delivery or setup.

Can I place a same-day order?

If we have availability, we're happy to accommodate same-day requests. You cannot book a same-day order online - for orders with less than 24-hour notice, please call us at (760) 519-7005 or text (760) 519-7005 to check our availability. Our same-day delivery fee is $50.

What are your delivery and pickup hours?

Deliveries start at 9:00 AM, and our last pickup is at 9:00 PM. After-hours pickups are available for an additional $50 per hour.

Which areas in San Diego do you serve?

We deliver to all areas of San Diego County, including Oceanside, Carlsbad, Encinitas, Del Mar, Solana Beach, La Jolla, Pacific Beach, Downtown, and more. Non-local delivery fees may apply based on your exact location. Not sure if we reach your area? Email us at hello@beachdayvalet.com.

What are your delivery fees?

Our delivery fee starts at $25. For deliveries outside our core service area, a $35 fee applies. All same-day requests will have a $50 delivery fee. All delivery fees are subject to change and will be communicated during the booking process.

How long can I rent equipment, and how are rates structured?

Rental durations are flexible to meet your needs. We offer:

Daily rates (up to 12 hours)

Weekly rates (beginning after 3 days)
